Jana Ross
Office Manager
Rooted in the heart of Virginia, I’ve been fortunate to call the outskirts of Williamsburg home since 2002. My days are filled with the things I love most: working on my land, caring for horses at a local farm, and spending time with my loyal dogs. When I’m not outdoors or crafting something creative, I bring my organizational skills to life as the Office Manager at Assessment and Counseling of Williamsburg, PLC, where efficiency meets compassion.
Married to the love of my life for nearly two years and immensely proud of my adult son, family is the foundation of everything I do. Whether it’s through work, volunteering, or simply lending a hand, my greatest passion is helping people and continuously learning.

Hello,
I am Maxi Trent. For over twenty years, I have dedicated my career to supporting individuals and families during their most vulnerable moments. My involvement in the Hurricane Katrina action team, where I helped relocate families and individuals from Louisiana to the District of Columbia, inspired me to further my career and provide more personalized assistance.
Throughout my career, I have focused on improving the lives of others. At Liberty University, I gained the skills to effectively and efficiently support those suffering from mental illness. I believe in treating the whole person, sometimes involving working with their families. In this capacity, I spent 15 years at the Department of Human Services in Washington, DC. Everyone deserves to understand who they are and what they want to be.
In recent years, I have specialized in working with individuals with comorbidity or co-existing diagnoses. I treat depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), drug and alcohol addiction, and other mood disorders. Most addictions begin as an escape from pain, whether mental, physical, or both. Drugs and alcohol provide a temporary fix to hide from the overwhelming emotional pain of mood disorders, depression, or troubled relationships. I have also worked with individuals with Bipolar Disorder I and II and those who suffer from PTSD and other anxiety and trauma-related disorders.
When addiction is present, it must be treated simultaneously with the mental illness. Both must be addressed together.
I am committed to providing professional and compassionate support to individuals of all races, genders, and backgrounds. My approach is inclusive and respectful, ensuring everyone receives the care and assistance they deserve.
My goal is to serve and help as many individuals as possible who want to be helped.
